palms&poems crystal rings

These crystal rings were created as very wearable objects in the conceptual jewelry series palms&poems.
"Who is allowed to wear what kind of jewelry and why?" - Inspired by the musician Gus Dapperton, the jewelry series questions and breaks down traditional stereotypes. The work also plays with the significance of the material and symbolic value of traditional jewelry materials such as gemstones. The materials used, as well as their surface treatment and appearance, raise questions about authenticity and forgery.
